Hello All. My name is Smirna and I live in a house in Jacksonville Florida with my 4 children. My oldest daughters are 18 and 12. I had noticed that they would sleep with the television on every night. I asked them why they did that and they said it's because when they didn't they could hear voices! My oldest daughter said that there had been times when she would wake up at night and be surrounded by a dark fog.
My 12 year old would just hear the voices. It shocked me because I was doing the same thing. I was sleeping with the television on because if I didn't I would hear voices close to my ear. I would also feel as if someone was right behind me and feel drafts when no windows were open. I thought it was my imagination until they told me about the voices that they would hear. My 18 year old has also seen bright "slashes" of light in her room.
She has also seen other "things" in her room. I come from a very religious family and I told my mom about what had been happening. She came over and blessed my house and since then, my 18 year old hasn't seen anything or heard any voices but we still all sleep with the television on "just in case".
