Hi, I'm writing to you to tell you about a house I lived in with my parents in Sealy, Texas, back in the 70's. My mother is trying to locate the exact address of this house. There had been many rumors about this house before my parents moved in. Some say the house was 150 years old and was brought over to the states piece by piece from England.

I don't know how true that is but what I do know is that this house left an impression on me that will last a lifetime. My dad bought the house thinking it would be a good fixer upper. What he didn't know was that it was built over a confederate battle ground. It seemed like the more he repaired the house the more the ghost would come out. He had to put in the toilets, bath tubs, sinks -- everything in this house.

He noticed as he was hammering into the walls that in between the walls there were walls inside walls and doors between the wall. My bedroom, along with my sister's, was upstairs. On this particular night I got up to use the bathroom which I had to go down stairs to do. I made it from my bed to the top of the staircase where I saw the most inhuman figure I had ever seen in my life standing about 6'3-6'5.

It held what I thought was a pitch fork in it's right hand and seemed to point at me to go back up with his other hand. After seeing this, it wasn't like I was going down stairs, anyway. This was my experience. We have seen confederate soldiers in this house and a women in a white gown. My dad never saw her face as it always appeared to be covered over her head with white sheer.
As I was doing my own research I found out that the Sealy High School was also haunted and wondered if there might be a connection there. I became curious after watching Unsolved Mysteries one day and heard about the rumors of the unsettled soldiers of Sealy, Texas, who refuse to give up their battle ground. I still don't understand the link between the figure that I saw and the women in white.

It seemed like the harder my dad worked to fix the house the worse things got, as if he wasn't supposed to mess with the house. The soldiers appeared to drag heavy chains across the floor and we could hear them dragging the floor. We lived in this house for 9 months, longer then anyone had ever lived in this house. Since we have moved from there my mother has experienced the water faucets turning on for no reason in her last home and, in her present home now, you can feel the presence of someone and know your not alone. My sister has seen a women walk from the bedroom to the kitchen and my mother has experienced what she describes as someone pushing her face into a pillow.

Could something be following her?
