Parapedia - Pitt Lake Giant

The Pitt Lake Giant is a giant cryptozoological primate reportedly sighted at a valley northwest of Pitt Lake, British Columbia in June of 1965 by Ron Welch and his brother. It reportedly made four-toed tracks and was estimated to be about 12 feet (~3.7 m) tall. The brothers sighted footprints in the snow, 24 in long and 12 in across. It had auburn-coloured hair, which was thinner on its arms than on its head. Its hands however, similar to canoe paddles, were reportedly yellow and could reach below its knees.
